999 BSL is intended ONLY for use by deaf individuals who use British Sign Language (BSL) to communicate. Use by individuals who do not communicate using BSL or any abuse of 999 (via 999 BSL) may put others’ lives at risk and could constitute a criminal offence. We work with the police to identify people who abuse this service.
